{"id":63,"date":"2014-10-14T10:07:32","date_gmt":"2014-10-14T10:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ddtp.tecnicasreunidas.es\/?page_id=63"},"modified":"2016-07-19T07:06:44","modified_gmt":"2016-07-19T07:06:44","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ddtp.tecnicasreunidas.es\/en\/about-us\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>T\u00c9CNICAS REUNIDAS<\/span><\/p>\n<p>T\u00e9cnicas Reunidas S.A (TR) is an international general contractor that provides engineering, design and construction of various types of industrial facilities for a wide range of customers throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>Since <strong>1960, TR<\/strong> has designed and built more than 1000 industrial plants in more than 50 countries.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tecnicasreunidas.es\/es\/grupo-tr\/historia\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ddtp.tecnicasreunidas.es\/wp-content\/themes\/ddgp\/img\/quienes-somos\/historia\/flecha.png\"><br \/>\n    http:\/\/www.tecnicasreunidas.es\/es\/grupo-tr\/historia\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>+ 1.000 INDUSTRIAL<br \/>PLANTS<\/span><br \/>\n<span>+ THAN 50 COUNTRIES<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY<br \/> DEVELOPMENT DIVISION<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Proprietary Technology Development Division <strong> (DDTP), created in 2007, alongside its renovated Technological Center, which focuses on projects in R&amp;D to develop new technologies in TR\u2019s strategic sectors, is the result of these activities <strong>initiated in 1971.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In 1971, TR created the Research and Development Division as a business<\/strong> unit to specialise in hydrometallurgical and electrochemical processes.<\/p>\n<p><span>1974<\/span>RESEARCH<br \/>CENTER<\/p>\n<p><span>1976, First industrial achievement&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Metalqu\u00edmica del Nervi\u00f3n, the first hydrometallurgical plant in the world to produce SHG ZINC through solvent extraction methods Zincex<sup>TM<\/sup> process. <\/p>\n<p><span>1977<\/span> MERCURY RECOVER<\/p>\n<p><b>In 1977, the first plant was set up to recover MERCURY<\/b> in industrial effluents from chlorine-soda plants through solvent extraction: the Mercurex process.<\/p>\n<p>Its success allowed it to license and operate two more plants, one in 1978 and another in 1982, for the same industrial group (EIASA) with the same process.<\/p>\n<p><span>1980<\/span><br \/>\n<span>New standard for Zincex <sup>TM<\/sup> process<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>1987<\/span><br \/>\n<span>SPENT DOMESTIC BATTERIES<br \/>RECYCLING PLANT<\/span><\/p>\n<p>En <b>1987<\/b> en Catalu\u00f1a (Espa\u00f1a) se pone en marcha una planta para el reciclado de bater\u00edas dom\u00e9sticas agotadas para la obtenci\u00f3n de <b>sulfato de zinc ultra-puro.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>1988<\/span><br \/>\n<span>COPPER SX <br \/>PROCESS<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In <b>1988<\/b>, a new plant was built in Almagrera (Andaluc\u00eda, Spain). It produced for a COPPER salt production (CuSO4.5H2O) through another process licencsed by TR: the Copper SX Pprocess. <\/p>\n<p><span>2003<\/span><br \/>\n<span>MODIFIED ZINCEX <sup>TM<\/sup> PROCESS (MZP) <\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2003, a new plant was set up in Namibia for the production of 150,000 tpa of SHG zinc through the modified Zincex<sup>TM<\/sup> process (MZP), constituting an improvement in the Zincex<sup>TM<\/sup> technology.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010 in Akita (Japan), Dowa Minerals opened a new production plant for 20,000 tpa of SHG zinc using the modified ZincexTM process (MZP) applied to secondary materials of Zn.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, in Portoscuso, Sardinia (Italy), Glencore opened a new production plant for 52,000 tpa of SHG zinc from Waelz oxides and Kivcet oxides using the modified a ZincexTM process (MZP).<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, in Mooresboro, North Carolina (USA), the Horsehead Corporation opened a new production plant for 140,000 tpa of SHG zinc from Waelz oxide using the modified ZincexTM process (MZP), as well as a production plant using ECOLEADTM technology, for 6,000 tpa of lead and 17 tpa of silver.<\/p>\n<p><span>WORLD LEADER<\/span><br \/>\nCurrently more than 300,000 tpa of Super High Grade (SHG) Zinc are produced worldwide in various plants using ZincexTM Technology, consolidating TR as a world leader in the production of Zinc through its patented technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"T\u00c9CNICAS REUNIDAS T\u00e9cnicas Reunidas S.A (TR) is an international general contractor that provides engineering, design and construction of various types of industrial facilities for a wide range of customers throughout the world.
